The National School of Judges of Ukraine organised an all-Ukrainian seminar for judicial assistants on Digitalisation of Justice and Application of Artificial Intelligence Technologies.
The seminar was held with the participation of leading legal experts, to which I was invited – Head of the Laboratory of the State Scientific Institution “Institute of Information, Security and Law of the National Law Academy of Ukraine”, Associate Professor of the Faculty of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and Advisor to the Director of the Institute of Advanced Defence Technologies. The event became a platform for discussing the latest technologies in the legal sector.
Participants and speakers discussed international experience in the use of artificial intelligence in legal proceedings, the specifics of its implementation in the Ukrainian judicial system, and reviewed electronic justice tools and ethical standards that must be followed when applying artificial intelligence algorithms. Particular attention was paid to the Metaverse trend as a step towards digital civilisation and digital transformation of the judicial system, as well as the possibilities of creating an electronic jurisdiction for digital spaces.
